War2.ru has most of the same commands as Battle.net. Here’s a list of the most common and useful server commands that anyone can use.
- /w [username] [message] – Send a private message to another user, can also use /m or /msg
- /r [message] – Send a private message to the last person who sent you one.
- /users – View a list of all logged in users.
- /where [username] – Find the location of another user (either channel name or game name). If they aren’t logged in returns the last date & time they were online.
- /finger [username] – View the contents of a user’s profile.
- /f a [username] – Add a user to your friend list.
- /f r [username] – Remove a user from your friend list.
- /f m – Send a message to everyone on your friend list.
- /f l – View your friend list
- /f o – View only your online friends
- /channels – View a list of all available channels (chat rooms)
- /join [channel] – Join a different channel. Default is War2BNE
- /games – View a list of all games currently hosted & in progress
- /away [message] – Set your status to “Away” with optional message (does not stop you from receiving private messages). Type /away again to cancel.
- /dnd [message] – Set your status to “Do Not Disturb” with optional message (blocks private messages that are sent to you). Type /dnd again to cancel.
- /watch [username] – Receive activity updates (join/leave games, join/leave realm) on a given user. Type /unwatch [username] to cancel.
- /watchall – Receive activity updates (join/leave games, join/leave realm) on all users. /unwatchall to cancel
- /ignore [username] – Hide message sent by a user in the chat. (They will have a large red X beside their name.) Can also use /squelch
- /mail – View your mailbox
- /mail s [username] [message] – Mail a message to a given user. The message will be stored in their mailbox indefinitely and can be retrieved by typing /mail
- /mail r [#] – Read a mail received from another user, indicated by the message ID number shown in your mailbox.
- /p [username] – View the latency of the indicated player. Can also use /ping
- /p – In channel: view your own latency. In game: view a list of all players & their latency. Can also use /ping
- /gameinfo – View info about the current game.
- /netinfo – View information (IP & ports) about about your connection to the server
- /con – View connection information (latency, channel/game) for all logged in users.
- /uptime – View the uptime of the server.
- /help – View a complete list of all server commands.
- F1 – View info about navigating the chat lobby
- Alt + V – Show or hide Join/Leave notifications in the channel.
- Alt + N – Copy the selected username in right-hand list to the chat box
- //d – Look with doubt
